Art Says Hi is a visual culture companion from Qomza, LLC. It begins with a simple idea: anything can be looked at like art.
Art Says Hi is available as a complete browser product, with an app for iPhone and Android in development. Read your photos, revisit saved readings, and explore the line between visible evidence, documented context, and interpretation.
That line is the whole product. A confident sentence about an image is easy to produce and hard to trust, so every reading is built to show which of its claims come from the picture, which come from a record, and which are one reasonable way of seeing.
What you can do here
Bring a photo to the browser scanner and get a reading you can argue with. Or start with the example library, which covers paintings, buildings, designed objects, clothing, vehicles, and everyday print, each written in the same order a scan result follows.
Who makes it
Art Says Hi is operated by Qomza, LLC. The site is in active development, and the iOS and Android apps are in progress. Corrections are welcome, and they are acted on.
